The CCA currently provide two halls which are available by
local organisations, residents and businesses. There are currently
proposals to develop a much new need community facility in the town
- Park Road Centre

The Park Road Centre, which is located about a
100 metres south of the High Street, comprises a main hall seating 120 with
a raised stage, there is a small meeting room which seats around 30 people.
The Hall is frequently used for weddings, parties etc and there is a large
kitchen to support these events. The Hall has a Theatres Licence and
is used by local drama groups for staging productions.
- Pine Grove Hall

The Pine Grove Centre is located adjacent to the
Croft Road car park, also adjacent to the Safeway service yard. There
are two meeting rooms, served by a shared kitchen. The larger of the
two rooms is 43m2 (470ft2), the smaller is 34m2
(365ft2).
- Proposed New Community
Facility
Local residents may have read in The Courier of
proposals to build a new community facility above the proposed new Safeways
store. The new facilty will be around 1,845m2 (19,850ft2)
with a Main Hall seating 300 people capable of sub-division, an large
ante-room with bar, and further meeting rooms.
